Extended Plot
The third episode takes us 20 years back in the past when Satyanand Tripathi along with his family was watching Ramleela. Here, we are introduced to the younger characters of Munna, Sweety, Akhandanand, Satyananand, etc. The environment was very peaceful and no one could depict that a massive fight would break out between Tripathis and Pandeyas. During the fair, Bahubali Thakur Ajeet’s men attacked Tripathi’s family. These men wore traditional dresses and for this reason, no one could recognize them.
However, because of Rati Shankar Shukla, Satyanand Triapthi successfully killed those men. Because of this incident, Satyanand Tripathi felt so betrayed that he actually decided to become the Bahubali of Mirzapur after killing Ajeet Thakur. And for this reason, he along with Rati Shankar Shukla and Akhandanand Tripathi shot dead Ajeet Thakur while he was going somewhere in his car.
In front of the people of Mirzapur, Satyanand Tripathi declared himself as the new Bahubali of Mirzapur, and Anandnath Tripathi and Munna Tripathi as his two successors. Rati Shankar Shukla seemed unhappy with the announcement however he chose to not show it.
Affected by the incident, Rati Shankar Shukla visited Muqbool’s house. Satyanand Tripathi was sitting on the left side of the injured Maqbool. Rati Shankar Shukla came inside and asked for some water from Muqbul’s mother. Suddenly, a gigantic fight took place between Rati Shankar and Stayanand Tripathi. During the fight, while protecting Muqbool’s mother, Satyanand Tripathi took a bullet in his back.
At the hospital, doctors informed Akhandanand that Satyanand will not be able to walk from then on. In the hospital, we saw that Akhandanand was lying flat on his hospital bed incapable of moving his body, and asked Anandnath Tripathi to call Rati. After the arrival of Rati, Anandnath breaks all his connections with him, and in return for all his previous works and loyalty, he gives him Jaunpuar. He also told him to never return to Mirzapur. However, Rati seemed unhappy with the decision because according to him he should be the successor of Satyanand Tripathi instead of Akhandanand Tripathi. Akhandanand went to leave Rati outside Mirzapur and forbade his return to the city again. Akhandanand then, using his knife, made a mark on Rati’s chest so that he would never forget how he was made to retreat from Mirzapur.
After twenty years, whenever Rati sees In mark on his chest, it reminds him of the insult he faced that night.
Twenty years after the incident, Rati Shankar Shukla could not forget Mirzapur and by hook or by crook he wants to become the ruler of Mirzapur. For this reason, he starts attacking Tripathi’s family.
In the second episode, Akhandanand takes Guddu and Bablu into his gun factory. There, they see the making of different kinds of bullets and guns. Anandnath visits the Lassi shop, and some men attack him. After several interrogations, Kaleen got to know that they were the men of Rati Shukla.
While each member of the Tripathi family was talking about the incident, Akhandanand orders Munna to explain the distribution of guns around the city to Guddu and Bablu in the morning. The next day, Munna explains everything to them and Akhandanand gives them the responsibility to increase his business.
In this episode, we also meet with Lala, an opium seller and distributor, and his daughter Shabnam whose marriage we will get to see in the next episode.
